Addition to the Family

Looks like a lap full to me. While Deb was holding baby Bryce, Tanner (18 months) decided that he needed to be on Grandma's lap also.

Deb showing off her latest family addition.

You may have noticed Samantha (Sam) in the Andrus Family Reunion photos, she was very pregnant. She had baby Bryce on May 26, not even 24 hours after we had gotten together. He weighted in at 9 lbs, 5 oz. A pretty good sided little man. Jim and I took my mom to Pocatello for a medical appointment, so after that we went up the hill to see Deb. Sam was there with the baby. Grandma-great loves holding the new little ones.

Owens Family

Just the three siblings, Perry, Adele, and Jim

Perry just couldn't stand my not being in a picture, so he took the camera and insisted that I have my picture takes with Jim, Adele, and Larry

Memorial Week 2009 was also a time when Jim's family (brother and sister) were in Blackfoot at the same time. Perry lives in Blackfoot, Adele and Larry live in Minnesota. It was great to see these guys together. L to R Perry, Jim, Adele, Larry.

Last of the Andrus Reunion

The whole group that attended the Memorial Day 2009 Andrus Reunion. Okay so everyone wasn't able to attend, but it was the first time in forever that all of my mother's (Reta) living children have gotten together for over five years. Hopefully it won't take us another five years.

More Andrus Family Reunion

Tanner discovered my cane while we were waiting for the food to cook. He took to it just like Austin does (I better get pictures of Austin with my cane soon)

This is Josh, Milo's son.

It has been over five years since the Andrus family (the one I grew up in) has gotten together. Mostly because Ray (pictured above) moved to Alaska. He brought Halabit and Salmon with him, so we had fish and whatever else everyone brought. Jim and I brought asparagus from Washington.

Quilts made for Sim and Tina's baby Tray

The first baby in each of our children's families gets several quilts made that can be handed down to future brothers or sisters. Here are a couple that I made for Sim and Tina's baby Tray.

Summer Puzzle

I had sewn this quilt top together two years ago. I decided that this was the year to complete all UFO's (unfinished objects). This quilt was the first to be tackled. I started to hand quilt it on January 2nd and finally finished quilting it on May 13, 2009. I really love the fabric prints and the hand quilting pattern is very good.

Grandpa O, Austin, and Teddy Bear

Some times Teddy Bear wins over everyone (this bear plays a lullaby he dances to).

Austin sure loves his Grandpa O, and Grandpa O thinks Austin is pretty great also.

Easter with Austin and Aeraci

Some times a guy just needs a little help to find all the eggs.

Austin was very good at finding the eggs and putting them in his basket (it helped that he had practiced the day before at Nana and Papa Dawsey's house.

Heading down the stairs to start the hunt. We had to do the Easter egg hunt between rain storms. It was almost 6pm when it was clear and dry enough to hide the eggs.

Easter with Scott and Michelle's Girls

Callie counted hers. Surprising enough they both found the same number of eggs. A very successful hunt.
The count begins, Claire counted hers first.Then....

Callie has to show us she was getting just a many eggs and Claire did.

Claire found the first eggs, Callie started a little slower.

Getting ready for the hunt. Michelle ready to take pictures with her camera, Claire and Callie with their baskets, and Grandpa and Grandma O making their way down the stairs to start.

Tina's Baby Shower

We had a baby shower for Tina (Grandma O, Annie, Shanessy, Leah (Shanessy's mom) at Red Robin. She was very surprised and grateful for all the baby goodies.

This is the coolest rubber ducky, it turns a different color when the water is too hot. I think Grandma O should get at least one of these (she tried to make soup out of Austin the other day).
