
The
Hagley Museum is in Wilmington, Delaware. It is comprised of the
Hagley Library,
Eleutherian du Pont family home and other buildings associated with the
du Pont family business that was started at this location along the
Brandywine River.

It was hot and humid, but
Aeraci was a good sport about letting daddy (Aaron), Grandpa & Grandma Owens look at everything they wanted to see at the museum.

One of the cars that a
du Pont family member built, it looked like it was a pretty nice ride, even for the era it came from.

A very large wagon, which was the customary mode of long distant travel in the 1800's.
du Pont family home, the family resided here from 1803 to 1890. The gun powder mill was located down the hill at the back of the home. Four members of the family were killed in the home while the gun powder mill was in operation while they were in the house. The walls of the house are very thick. The interior is as beautiful as the outside.
